June 24, 2020. "Investigation details fatal insider attack on senior enlisted soldier during Army SFAB's first deployment", Army Times.

June 5, 2020. "Army Investigation: Rogue Afghan Command Planned Taylor Assassination for weeks; intelligence failures cited", Standard Examiner. In November 2018 Major Taylor was killed by an Afghan member of the Ktah Khas Commando Battalion.

March 6, 2020. "Red Arrow Soldiers in Afghanistan build on legacy", Army.mil. Nearly 400 Soldiers from the 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (BCT) were mobilized in July 2019 to serve as 'guardian angels' and force protection for the 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB). The 128th was integrated into the 3rd SFAB as its seventh battalion.

February 8, 2020. "7th Group Casualties in Afghanistan (Sat, Feb 8, 2020)", SOF News. Two service members killed and six others were wounded by an Afghan in an Army uniform.

2019

November 21, 2019. "Guardian Angels Still Defending Against Insider Threats in Afghanistan", Military.com. The 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Georgia Army Naitonal Guard) recently returned from a long deployment to Afghanistan. About 1/3 of the BCT members have civilian jobs associated with the law enforcement community which provided skills needed for those selected to be Guardian Angels.

September 24, 2019. "Three US service members wounded in Afghanistan insider attack", Military Times. A member of the Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) fired on a convoy in Kandahar province. The attacker was killed by return fire from Resolute Support forces.

July 18, 2019. "Afghan Army Commander Killed in Insider Attack", Tolo News. A brigade commander was killed by two ANA members affiliated with the Taliban.

May 4, 2019. "Brother against Brother: How a Taliban infiltrator killed three in Helmand", Stars and Stripes. An insider attack that occured in April 2019 is detailed.

August 26, 2015. "Resolute Support Casualty". Resolute Casualty Report. Two RS members were killed in an apparent insider attack on an ANDSF compound in Helmand province on August 26th.

August 19, 2015. "Completely betrayed: An investigation into the insider attack that killed a 2-star general", Stars and Stripes, August 19, 2015. In the summer of 2014 MG Harold Greene was killed by an Afghan soldier while visiting an Afghan training facility.

August 4, 2014. "American general shot dead by rogue Afghan soldier". The Telegraph. A U.S. Major General (2-star) was killed by a man wearing an Afghan National Army uniform at the Afghan National Defense University in Kabul. Earlier reports indicated the attack took place at an officer military academy known as 'Sandhurst in the Sand' located on the outskirts of Kabul.
