National Target Exploitation Center (NTEC)

The National Target Exploitation Center (NTEC) mission is to assist in the identification, arrest and prosecution of insurgents and high-profile criminal networks as part of Afghan-led operations. NTEC is in the lead for the conduct of evidence-based operations to better facilitate criminal prosecutions of detained individuals. The proper documentation and following of proper processes of evidence-based operations will help the police to provide better evidence and expedite the judicial process in Afghan courts.

The focus of this targeting center is to gather and analyze all-source information with a counterterror / counterinsurgency focus. NTEC plans and executes intelligence and low-leve arrest operations. It refers most target packages to the GCPSU or Nasrat for national level fusion and action.
