Montenegro in Afghanistan

Montenegro has been a steady participant in the Afghan conflict. It's troops first served with the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and then later with the NATO Resolute Support Mission (RSM).

The country first sent troops to Afghanistan in 2010. Many of the nation's troops are serving at Camp Marmal - the base of the Train, Advise, and Assist Command -North located in northern Afghanistan.
