Reflective Belts & Ft Drum
In an attempt to save a slice of history the FAQ page for 3rd BCT, 10th Mountain Division is pasted into this webpage. Check out item # 6 prescribing the different color reflective belts to be worn based on the rank of the Soldier doing physical training! You can't make this stuff up! The U.S. Army has reached a new level of absurdity. This FAQ page is located at the following link but it may soon be edited so that is why it is posted below (accessed 1 Nov 15). www.drum.army.mil/3rdBCT/Pages/faq.aspx
6.) I see Soldiers wearing different colored reflective belts during PT. What's the reason for that? Under the 10th Mountain Division policy, Soldiers wear a different colored PT belt depending on their rank. All officers wear blue reflective belts, NCOs wear green reflective belts, and junior enlisted Soldiers wear yellow reflective belts. Battalion-level and higher command teams wear a blue reflective vest for PT.
