Thousands of Afghans who worked with or for the United Kingdom government in Afghanistan and fled the Taliban are now in Pakistan waiting for relocation to the UK. Some have been waiting for more than a year. The Afghan refugees face deportation back to Afghanistan by Pakistani authorities.
